Retrolux is his latest venture that seeks to accelerate the adoption of market ready technologies that decrease fossil fuel usage and toxic materials in the lighting market by providing software that brings products to market faster and cheaper than ever before.
Leif is a serial clean energy entrepreneur with four successful clean energy companies, ten years of experience, and deep market knowledge in commercial energy efficient lighting. He’s a licensed professional engineer and currently focused on accelerating energy efficient lighting adoption through a simplified sales channel fueled by Retrolux integrated software.
He currently serves as an advisor with Bluebird Solar and Light, a Sun Valley, Idaho based energy services company focusing on rooftop solar PV and LED lighting. He’s also past partner with Intermountain Energy Partners where he developed a 170MW utility grade solar PV project in Idaho that was sold for a 8x return in addition to building a 500MW+ pipeline.
He is also active in his community with several leadership positions with non-profits including: Past Board Chair Idaho Clean Energy Association, Past Board Chair Idaho Chapter USGBC, Board Member and Building Committee Chair Treasure Valley YMCA, Member Energy Efficiency Task Force for Idaho Strategic Energy Alliance, and Past Board Member Land Trust of Treasure Valley.

Brett has been developing websites and software solutions for over 20 years and started building mobile applications before the first iPhone was released. His clients and employers have ranged from small startups to Fortune 500 global enterprises. He is experienced with all stages of the software development life cycle and has built applications using a wide range of software development technologies.
Brett is passionate about building software that is easy to use, works across a wide range of devices and platforms, and helps make people and businesses more productive. He is also passionate about decreasing the environmental impact of energy production by streamlining the process of buying and selling high-efficiency energy systems
Most recently Brett led the software development at Wevorce, a Y Combinator (W13) company. Before that he built two energy audit and proposal software applications for commercial and residential properties. He also built an application for home builders to manage spec sheets and provide homeowners with details about all of the components and materials used to build their home. Before that he helped build two different mobile field management applications, with features including data entry, order taking, delivery routing, printing invoices and synchronizing with QuickBooks.
Outside of work, Brett enjoys hiking, rafting, skiing, snowshoeing, biking and helping startups.

Devon has spent over 27 years in the lighting and controls industry where he has gained a deep understanding of the distribution channel. From distributor to agent; from specification professional to sole proprietor; from lighting designer to sales manager for leading manufacturers across the country – his career journey has allowed him to experience first-hand the technological innovations that have literally changed lighting and controls forever.
LED came first, and drastically altered lighting across every aspect of the industry – eliminating lamps and fixtures that we had all come to know and love. LED then gave rise to the advancement of wireless controls and energy management software enhancing the IoT (Internet of Things) phenomenon. And finally, government regulations such as Title-24 and Ashrae-2010 were implemented, creating a need for extensive rebate programs designed to fund these regulatory requirements ultimately creating an inordinate amount of time-consuming paperwork, project delays, and unnecessary complexity for the entire commercial construction community.
The sales channel has been slowly evolving within this technologically advanced chaos for a very long time. The desire to change and get closer to the end-user has always been there, but the vehicle to make it a reality had not yet been invented. Devon joined our executive team because he believes that Retrolux is that “missing link” that will provide the key to that desired eventuality and will ultimately light the fire to begin that needed sales channel evolution.
In his free time, Devon spends time with his wife and children, coaching youth sports, and is always patiently waiting for the NFL season to begin! Family is always at the heart of every decision he makes, and balance across career, personal life, and education are the key to his success.

Garrison moved to Boise from Moscow, Idaho after completing his Mechanical Engineering degree. While studying engineering at the University of Idaho, he worked alongside companies promoting environmental stability and resource reduction. His numerous internships and experience as a journeyman electrician, alongside his passion for thermal and green energy, has made his move to Retrolux a natural fit. Outside of work, Garrison spends his time snowboarding, playing the drums and competing in ultimate Frisbee leagues.
